Contradictions and Contrasts

Because I admire the Sistine Chapel doesn't mean I
Never step outside or have forgotten the sky.

Although you met me in this very room
Do not disregard the womb or the tomb.

For first impressions uninformed last long
Unless revisited, revised, we find

There is nothing wrong with having been wrong
As long as one can change one's mind.

Here is one instance only of
Some things before and other things to come;

And oddly what one may one time feel love
For may come to seem somewhat numb

For, and all the things I knew before
I won't remember anymore.

So why should I try, try to thrive?
Why am I here, what do I have to give

Being alive? The answer is I am alive
And being so living make all things live.
