Sonnet 1 - Who Are You

Even before I got there seeing his
Photo on Linkedin I knew he would not
Hire me or even like me, and could spot
In his work history just how it is
We should dislike each other, unalike
In education, use of language, thought;
So why did I go knowing we both brought
Antagonisms that neither one could strike
Off record and up conversation as
An interview skill any idiot has?
There is no answer. Being human we
Persist in madness having no success,
Continue to define insanity
Throughout life without options for redress.
